BIRD INCENSE HOLDER
OBJECT

EDITION OF 10

Currently on Sale at Saan Saan
Temple Bird is a sculptural piece that invokes the quiet and gentle state of a bird at rest. Stout yet meek, the piece calls on as a soft reminder of how 'rest must be intentional.' A bird is not always in flight.

Produced in conversation with Saan Saan's Mark Zavalla, we explored the inhabitants of the temple that give dialogue to the meditative resonance of the space. Temple Bird doubles as an incense holder — encouraging rituals that soothe the weary soul.

Able to withstand the heat of falling ash, Temple Bird is machined from high quality Stainless Steel and finished lovingly by hand, this totem of rest is designed to stand and collapse as needed.

FRAMED ART PRINT

OPEN EDITION

Exhibited at The Ayala Museum : I/Land

While on a mission in the community of Sampad, Rizal, I happened upon this boy traversing boats docked by the covered court where we were based. He reminded me of myself when I was young. “Maligalig” moving from boat to boat, through, and above them. May I never forget that I’m capable of being just as nimble too.
LINGAP
OBJECT

EDITION 1/1

Exhibited at Balay Kobo : Pag-Uruli.

Lingap means to care. The world is a chaotic and hardened place to be.  As we grow older, we are taught to be gentle. To let go and let our guard down. Lingap is a piece meant to serve as a reminder of that slowness and gentleness. Functioning as both a furniture piece and as a place of playful exploration, the low wooden sandbox invites you to sit down and find gentleness in the sand.

WAITING BENCH
OBJECT

AVAILABLE FOR ORDER
Originally inspired by discarded wood, Waiting Bench reimagines waiting as a shared experience rather than a solitary act. Built from assembled slats, its form reflects the way time and space are negotiated between people—somewhere to sit, to pause, to exist together. The varied grain and subtle irregularities embrace imperfection, reminding us that waiting is not just about patience but also presence.

GOOSE
FRAMED ART PRINT

EDITIONS: 1/7
Goose waddled beside me along the promenade in Frankfurt. My first friend in the city. A local too. I noticed goose wearing a collar of some sorts. Maybe they tracked the population of geese here? Goose sat beside me for a while, so we both curiously took the city in from where we sat. It was my first day in Germany, and my first time in Europe. Hours ago, I spent a good amount of time flustered after having misjudged my visa and ultimately, my travel plans. It was nice to have spent a little time with Goose. All the more after accepting my fate that my first trip to Europe wasn’t gonna go as I initially planned.

BIG BITE
FRAMED ART PRINT

EDITIONS: 1/7
Big Bite was an obscure moment where my exploration led me to meaningful garbage. 7/11 Hotdogs were always a thing between me and my dad. We’d always drop by the one along Pioneer Street. He’d park the car — tell me to wait, be in and out in 15 minutes, tops. We loved snacking on them alongside Slurpees. The brain freeze I remember mirrored the mountain’s cold. Staring at the wrappers, I began to crave some with a little manhattan dressing to top it all off.

Acrylic attempts to capture the current state of the plant. In its eventual failure, we see the movement and passing of a life through the rest of its stages.

This piece is in a constant state of becoming as the seeming focus wilts, dries, and maybe grows again into a new form of life.
