FOLEY MUSIC
Foley Music (FM) is the sonic alias of Simon Te, a DJ and creative with over six years of experience playing in Manila, Singapore, and Berlin. Inspired by the cinematic technique of Foley—where sound design deepens the visual experience—his sets are built on the belief that music should heighten, transform, and complete the space it occupies.
Prioritizing house, jazz, and electro, Foley Music weaves together playful rhythms and atmospheric layers, with occasional detours into world, left-field, ambient, and cinematic sounds. His selections are curated with design-minded and art-related contexts in mind—whether it’s an exhibition opening, a late-night bar, or a listening room.
Previously performing under another name, Simon has played at venues including Headquarters, Cherry Discotheque, Wild Pearl Studios, and Moonstone in Singapore; Ostklub in Berlin; and Oto, Futurist, and INT in the Philippines, along with various independent events.
Now relaunching under Foley Music (FM), he continues to explore sound as a material for meaning—an invisible architecture that invites people to feel, move, and pay attention.

07-2025
A mix of house, alternative, and funk that plays well with the late afternoon sun. Loose and steady, it sets a tone for unhurried conversations and quiet energy. Something to have on when the sky’s still bright, but the day’s already softening.
INT. FLOOR - NIGHT
07-2025
A steady run of house, dub, electro, and dance. Rhythms build without rush, held together by a quiet sense of momentum. Meant for rooms where the lights are low and bodies find their own pace.
INT. TUNNEL - NIGHT
06-2024
Electro, techno, and house on the heavier end—built on low-end pressure and tight repetition. Tracks move with weight, closer to sweat than stillness. Suited for late hours and enclosed spaces.
The Analog Vault (Singapore) -- 2023
05-2023
A mix recorded for The Analog Vault—bright, paced, and a little playful. Moving through Japanese house, acid, disco, and soul, the set stays light on its feet without losing shape. Built on the idea of dance as something instinctive, almost childlike. Some tracks nod to theater, others to the feeling of cities holding things in. There’s rhythm, there’s joy, and just beneath it, a bit of something else.
Manila Community Radio -- 2022
01-2022
A light-handed mix aired on Manila Community Radio, drifting through world house, electro, and funk. Loose around the edges, steady at the core. Made to keep things bright without tipping over. Just enough pulse to carry you through the afternoon.
